Rory hammers with one hammer
Song- "Rory hammers with one hammer, one hammer, one hammer, Rory hammers with one hammer just like this!". Rory had fun last week approaching the capentry table and standing to watch the older children have a go. Once most of the children had moved on Rory had a go, he did well to lift a heavy hammer and picked up a plank of wood with his other hand. By watching what the other children did, Rory could copy and work out how to do this activity for himself, through free choice and by having fun. 'Toddlers are introduced to tools and materials and allowed to experiment with them. Communication' - Te Whaariki. Jessie
