Using ball skills inside

It was nearing the end of the day last Wednesday. Charlie and Tyra were throwing little balls around, I suggested we could sit on the ground and roll the ball to each other so things wouldn't get broken. They liked this idea so we took turns with the ball, as time went on we had Noah and Oliver join in with the fun. This was a great way for children to learn about turn taking, gross and fine motor skills when rolling the ball and using their body positioning, it was nice as it was a mixture of ages joining in together. Lots of laughs and smiles were shared it was a nice way to end the day as we couldn't go outside and throw balls around because of all that rain.

Good idea Tamara! Noah's got a pretty good arm on him and loves throwing balls around. Watch out he doesn't get you though, he thinks it is a great joke!

Thanks for the regular updates on the Kidspace blog! I check it on my breaks at work, and love showing my colleagues the stories about Noah!

He does have a good throw, that's for sure. It's a joy to put all of Noah's learning and goings on at KIDSPACE on the blog. Thank-you for commenting and giving us feedback:)
