At the moment we (the teacher's) are working on our Te reo Maori so we can become more knowledgeable. At staff meetings we are going to start practicing our pepeha's/ mihi where we came from, who our parents are, what is our mountain and river. And working together on more phrases.

It would be great if you could put together a hand-out for parents of simple names/actions in Te Reo that you are learning or using at Kidspace so we too can practice at home!
Thats sounds like a great idea Gemma, I was also thinking maybe some songs to as Noah is very good at doing some of the actions to the songs we sing at lunch time especially "the kiwi bird".
